Registration

Lunch will be available at the venue every day, including Sunday 8 May (for TCG and Exec only), at a cost of R150 per person/day paid before 1 April 2016 or R180 per person/day paid after that date. There is no easy access to alternatives for lunch so we expect everyone to take lunch from Monday to Friday. It is ESSENTIAL that you register for lunch on the days you will attend the meeting even if you do not expect to eat lunch! We must pay the conference venue according to the number of people attending the meeting and this is the only way we have of counting the number. The LUNCH is highly subsidised and the full cost per person is much more than the cost we pass on for lunch. The meeting dinner will be a traditional South African spit braai (bar-b-que) at the South African Astronomical Observatory Headquarters near Cape Town (this occupies the original buildings of the British Royal Observatory Cape of Good Hope, founded in 1820). Transport will be provided to/from the meeting venue and the guesthouses. The journey will take about 50 minutes each way. The full cost will be R500 per person before 1 April, R600 after that date.
